Occasions Of Ravinia Pavilion
The Ravinia Festival is the oldest outdoor music festival in the United States, using a series of outdoor performances and festivals held each summer from June to September. Ravinia takes its name in the ravines found nearby along the coastline of Lake Michigan. Ravinia 3,350-seat open-air, covered Pavilion is host to the yearly residency of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the heart of the festival's summer time, as well as to a wide variety of the greatest rock, pop, blues, jazz, and country musicians today and much more. It is an open minded venue. Ravinia is primarily known as an outdoor place with a gorgeous sprawling lawn. We encourage our guests to bring chairs, tables, blankets as well as food and beverages as you need, such as alcohol for those 21+. The pavilion stage is not within view of the yard (well, most areas anyways). The Pavilion At Ravinia is a yard. The ability of Ravinia lawn varies by an event to ensure the comfort of guests. "Ravinia is a smoke-free environment. Smoking areas can be found outside the park gates at designated areas."
